Pre and Post Natal Bellydance - In Malmö

We invite you to honour your body during this magical period by practicing the millenary art of bellydance. Learn to be in touch with your core and pelvic floor, these muscles play a very important role during child birth and post natal recovery.

The course

Bellydancing will help you to consciously connect with your body, relax stiffness and even relieve some of the aches proper of pregnancy.

Some of the benefits are:
Helps to relieve lower back pain during pregnancy. Improves hip mobility. Helps to relieve neck and shoulder stiffness caused by holding your baby for long periods, rocking or during breastfeeding. Improves muscle tone.

Previous knowledge and target group

This course is specially created for you who is pregnant or have recently had a baby. Doesn´t matter if you have danced anything else before or if this is your first step into the magical world of dance.

What to wear

Comfortable clothes, preferably nothing to loose around the hips and abdomen.
A hip scarf if you have one, it doesn’t need to be a special for bellydancing.
Almost any scarf will work as long as you can tie it around your hip.


Good to know

The course will be held in English.
