Prisutdelningen h\u00f6lls l\u00f6rdag 25 januari i ABF-huset p\u00e5 Sveav\u00e4gen i Stockholm i en fullsatt sal.\u00a0S\u00e4llskapet Moas V\u00e4nners<\/a>\u00a0vice ordf\u00f6rande G\u00f6ran Eriksson h\u00e4lsade v\u00e4kommen, s\u00e4llskapets ordf\u00f6rande Ebba Witt-Brattstr\u00f6m talade om Harriet Thurgrens stora betydelse f\u00f6r att arvet efter hennes farmor Moa h\u00e5lls levande och ABF-representanten Faaid Ali-Nuur \u00f6verl\u00e4mnade diplomet med motiveringen.<\/p>\n

Motiveringen:
\n<\/strong>F\u00f6r alla som bes\u00f6kt Moas torp i \u00d6smo sedan det \u00f6ppnade f\u00f6r visning 1983, uppskattningsvis 40 000 m\u00e4nniskor, \u00e4r Harriet Thurgren en bekant och imponerande person. \u00c5r efter \u00e5r, busslast efter busslast, privatbil efter privatbil har hon of\u00f6rtr\u00f6ttligt visat torpet och samtidigt initierat ber\u00e4ttat om sin farmor Moa Martinson som gick bort 1964 n\u00e4r Harriet Thurgren var 19 \u00e5r. D\u00e4rtill har hon varit torpets \u201df\u00f6rest\u00e5ndare\u201d, och tillsammans med sin familj h\u00e5llit torpet och tr\u00e4dg\u00e5rden i skick.<\/span><\/p>\n

Med andra ord \u00e4r Harriet Thurgren, som i sommar fyller 80 \u00e5r, en besj\u00e4lad kulturinstitution av det slag som ofta f\u00f6rbises. Utan hennes entr\u00e4gna arbete f\u00f6r att genom torpets unika kulturmilj\u00f6 \u2013 d\u00e4r \u00e4ven Harry Martinson vistades sina f\u00f6rsta elva \u00e5r som f\u00f6rfattare \u2013 h\u00e5lla Moas arv levande skulle det varit sv\u00e5rare att verka f\u00f6r Moa Martinsons f\u00f6rfattarstatus som en av v\u00e5ra stora moderna klassiker.<\/span><\/p>\n

Det \u00e4r sv\u00e5rt att finna n\u00e5gon som i s\u00e5 h\u00f6g grad fyller Moa-prisets krav p\u00e5 att verka \u201di Moas anda\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Moa Martinson-stipendiet (Moa-priset) \u00e4r ett litter\u00e4rt pris p\u00e5 20 000 svenska kronor som \u00e5rligen utdelas av Arbetarnas bildningsf\u00f6rbund (ABF) och <\/span>S\u00e4llskapet Moas v\u00e4nner<\/a>\u00a0till en f\u00f6rtj\u00e4nt person som skriver i Moa Martinsons anda.
