📸 Freeze the Moment – A Beginners’ Photography Lab

Photography for Everyone: Seeing the World Anew
This 5-week long photography workshop is designed to help you unlock your creative eye and gain confidence in photography with both mobile phone and camera. Whether you want to take powerful portraits, capture city streets, or tell visual stories, this course is tailored to your needs and interests.
Each weekly gathering includes two interactive sessions combining theory, guided discussions, and hands-on practice. You'll explore topics such as:
• Visual language: light, shadow, emotion, and composition
• Camera basics: Mobile and Camera settings (ISO, aperture, shutter speed)
• Storytelling through light and framing
• Portrait, Landscape and Street photography
• Shooting videos with mobile phones
• Photo & Video Editing essentials using free apps
• Outdoor photo walks and creative challenges
• Presentation of your final work in a friendly group setting
Some of the sessions will be held outdoors, where we’ll practice street, portrait and landscape photography.
On the first Saturday, you'll complete an interest form to help shape the focus of the course. Whether you're curious about architecture, selfies, or video storytelling – this circle grows with you.

Meet Your Instructor: Anand
Engineer-turned-Photographer | Visual Storyteller | Creative Educator
Anand is an engineer-turned-photographer with a deep passion for capturing life’s most beautiful and meaningful moments. His journey behind the lens began in 2011, and since then, photography has been not just a profession, but a powerful way to connect with people and their stories.
With a decade of experience spanning freelance work and wedding planning, Anand brings a rare blend of creativity, technical skill, and storytelling to his practice. He has worked extensively in wedding photography, corporate shoots, and brand campaigns—offering everything from emotional candid captures to sleek, professional visuals for digital marketing and social media.
Beyond taking pictures, Anand believes in the power of photography to change how we see the world. Through his workshops, he helps beginners discover their unique visual voice, understand the fundamentals of photography, and build confidence using both cameras and mobile phones.
Whether you're picking up a camera for the first time or looking to explore the art of storytelling through images, Anand brings patient guidance, real-world insights, and a passion for helping others see differently.
