The word drag king is being heard more and more across Sweden, but what exactly is a drag king? While drag kings often perform masculinity on stage for entertainment, drag can also be a powerful tool for exploring identity, confidence and self-expression.

In this hands-on workshop, you'll create and develop your own drag king persona while experimenting with body language, voice, makeup, shading and beard creation. Whether you're curious about drag or already performing, you're welcome to join.
Liam Teasem is the drag persona of Jenny Wellander Bergman, an internationally recognised drag artist and drama teacher. Since 2015, Liam has toured Sweden with the acclaimed Drag King Bootcamp, inspiring hundreds of people to find their inner king. Liam is also a co-founder of Sweden's only drag king bootcamp, a performer in Kings Unleashed, and the first drag king ever nominated for Drag Artist of the Year at the QX Gala.

• Open to everyone aged 13 and up, regardless of gender expression or previous experience
• Makeup, wigs and some clothing will be available to borrow
• Feel free to bring a fabulous outfit of your own
