JAM Summer Session presenterar:

Originally from Södertälje, Madde began her dance career at JAM Studios. It was there she started teaching, leading crews, and became one of the organizers of the first JAM Summer Session.

From there, her journey in the dance field continued. Since 2016, Madde has worked as a dancer and performance artist. Most notably as part of the dance and performance collective JUCK, she has toured both nationally and internationally.

In recent years, she has been based in Skåne, working as a dance teacher at Malmö Kulturskola, Malmö Latinskola, and various private dance schools.

She is now back in Stockholm, and we are proud to welcome Södertälje’s very own Madde as a judge for the Showcase Competition.

Aru is a versatile dancer whose practice moves between contemporary and street dance forms, with a strong focus on House Dance.

Since 2020, Arunas has performed with leading companies in Lithuania, including AURA Dance Theatre and NUEPIKO Contemporary Dance Company. In 2022, he was invited to join Norrdans in Sweden.

At the moment, Aru works as a House Dance teacher and mentor at Åsa Folkhögskola, while also creating his own stage work and performing in various projects across Europe.

Beyond the stage, he is an active presence in the international dance battle scene. He is also the founder of Pure House – Europe — a platform that includes camps, intensive weekends, and battles.

We are exited to have this beautiful dancer, performer, organiser and human as our judge in the Showcase Competition.

Killa Kim is a highly accomplished bgirl known for her unique dynamic style and versatility. She has been a dominant force in the bgirl scene for the past three years, earning multiple national and international titles. 

She won the Olympic Breaking Championship in Ukraine, solidifying her spot as a top contender for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. 

She is also known for her humility and generosity, mentoring young dancers and serving as a role model in the bgirl community. 

Killa Kim’s undeniable talent and passion make her a force to be reckoned with in the breaking world and on the Olympic stage. 

We are excited to have Killa Kim representing the Breaking category at Jam Summer Session on June 14 at Södertälje Centrum.

Representing the crew Cipha64 and his hometown Orsa, Sweden – a place that always lives within him. Nils is a learner, dancer and battlehead who has dedicated the larger part of his life to catching rhythms, work on his craft and studying Hip Hop dance. He came on to the swedish dance scene in 2014 with a unique way and burning passion.

Today he works with dance in various ways, with a big focus on community building and helping young dancers grow and navigate their own journey. Nils is one of the teachers at Åsa Folkhögskola and has previously judged battles in Norway, Finland, Hungary, Japan and around Sweden.

We are happy to have Nils representing the hip hop category at Jam summer Session on June 14 at Södertälje Centrum.

It is an honor to have Damon representing the Popping category at Jam Summer Session.

Damon began dancing on the streets of San Francisco in 1975 and has been working professionally with dance all around the globe since 1981. He is frequently invited to judge major dance battles, including Summer Dance Forever, Juste Debout and Battle of the Year. He has toured with dance companies such as Jam On The Groove, BouncE Street Dance Company, Raised On Rhythm, and WIRED.

In Sweden, he is one of the pioneers of streetdance and has, with tireless energy and inspiration, taught generations of dancers. He has taught at institutions including Åsa Folkhögskola, Danscenter Stockholm, Stockholm University of the Arts, Cullberg etc.

His work has also received significant recognition. As a music producer, he has been nominated for a Grammy and has won P3 Guld. For his contributions to the dance community, he has received the Lifetime Achievement Award at Streetstar and Ganneviksstipendiet, one of Sweden’s largest cultural grants.
